The Millers Falls FIRP800K single tyne ripper and pipelayer kit is a powerful and versatile attachment for your Category 1, 3 Point hitch tractor. With its forged and heat-treated scarifier tooth, it can plough through hard and dry land 750mm below the tractors lift pins. This eliminates the need for manual digging and pushing, making your work much easier. Included is the 80mm Pipelaying attachment, this attachment is perfect for laying poly pipe for acreage and farm water projects, further increasing the versatility of the ripper. The Pipelayer can be easily removed allowing the implement to be used as a standalone ripper.
These rippers are not only suitable for breaking up compacted ground, but also for disturbing rabbit warrens, aerating the soil, planting tree lines, and managing land. They are particularly effective on sloping ground where water runoff is a concern. By carefully ripping along the contours of the land, you can catch rainwater, increasing subsoil moisture for greener pastures even in drier months.
The tyne of the ripper has a chamfered or pointed leading edge, which ensures a cleaner rip line without tearing up large chunks of grass. This also reduces the horsepower requirements for the tractor. The tyne is fully welded and reinforced with double clevis slip-in pin linkage points, making it one of the strongest rippers available on the market.
